6–7 May 2010

Entrepreneurs – Agents of Change

St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies

The St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies is an independent foundation in St. Gallen with a focus on international projects at the interfaces between business, politics and society. In its role as the supervisory body for the International Students’ Committee (ISC) St. Gallen and the St. Gallen Symposium, the St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies guides the activities of the symposium’s student organising committee, the composition of which changes every year.

The foundation assists the ISC-Team in its task of developing the conceptual framework and content, and also plays its part in the strategic development of the symposium. Moreover, the Board of Trustees under the chairmanship of Dr. Josef Ackermann, Deutsche Bank AG, supervises the deployment and efficient use of available resources.

This combination of student responsibility and professional guidance is vital to the long-term success of the St. Gallen Symposium.
