Curriculum Vitae


Born in 1966. William Devine graduated from the University of St. Gallen with a degree in business administration, economics, law and social science.


William Devine started his career as a financial analyst for the multinational DuPont de Nemours. Subsequently, he worked for Price Waterhouse as a senior consultant, which enabled him to acquire indepth corporate knowledge. As Managing Director and member of the Board of Directors of Montres Universal and Robergé Watches, William Devine defined winning products, devised more effective marketing concepts and consolidated and developed distribution networks. As Sales and Marketing Director for de Grisogono, he established the brand’s watchmaking activity, including the highly successful creation and launch of its first collection. William Devine has also handled the implementation of turn-around strategies by investing in several watch and jewellery companies. He was Show Director for the 2002 edition of BASELWORLD, the World Watch and Jewellery Show. Throughout his career, William Devine has been responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies and has propelled several luxury watch companies towards growth and international development. Since 2007, William Devine is Chief Executive Officer of BEDAT&CO, which was founded in 1996 and developed its activities in the field of luxury watchmaking.
