Curriculum Vitae


Born in 1961. Tobias Guldimann received his Doctorate in Economics from the University of Zurich.


In 1986, Tobias Guldimann joined Credit Suisse in Zurich, the then Schweizerische Kreditanstalt, as an Information Technology Auditor within the Internal Audit Department. Between 1992 and 1996, he held different sales and management functions in the Trading Division and was Head of Global Treasury Coordination. From 1996 to 1997, Tobias Guldimann provided Management Support to the Chief Executive Officer at Credit Suisse First Boston in Zurich and was a member of the People, Practices and Policies Committee and the Administration Committee. In 1998, he was named Deputy Chief Risk Officer of Credit Suisse Group. In addition to this position, he became Head of Strategic Risk Management of Credit Suisse Financial Services in 2002. Since 2004, Tobias Guldimann has been Group Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse Group.
