Curriculum Vitae


Born in 1970. Ronald Nehring studied government and political science at the American University in Washington D.C. and at the State University of New York.


He started his political career as President of his College Republican Club and thereafter managed campaigns for Republican candidates in his home state of New York, before moving to Washington D.C. In 2001, Ronald Nehring was elected Chairman of the Republican Party of San Diego County. Two years later, he was nominated President of the California Republican County Chairmen’s Association. Since 1998, Ronald Nehring has acted as Senior Consultant to Americans for Tax Reform and following his appointment in 2005, as Vice Chairman of the California Republican Party. In 2007, he was unanimously elected Chairman of the California Republican Party.


In 2004, he joined the Board of Trustees of the Grossmont Union High School District in San Diego County. In addition, he was selected to serve on the California Board of Forestry and Fire Protection by California’s Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Ronald Nehring has volunteered to teach campaign strategy and tactics to others at campaign seminars throughout the United States and Canada as well as the Middle East, Africa and Haiti. In 2005, he journeyed to Iraq to teach governance practices to members of the Iraqi government and in 2007 he served as an international elections observer in Nairobi, Kenya.
