The St. Gallen Symposium annually takes place on the campus of the University of St. Gallen. The university campus is situated on the hills above the city of St. Gallen and offers a picturesque view of Lake Constance, Mount Säntis and the Rhine Valley. Approximately a one hour’s drive east of Zurich, St. Gallen and its 80,000 inhabitants form the heart of Eastern Switzerland amidst the four-country-region of Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
